Characteristics of AC chlorinator cell

AC chlorinator cell consists of parallel titanium plates, the anode of AC chlorinator cells uses high-quality ruthenium iridium coated titanium anodes, and the cathode uses pure titanium plates. All titanium electrodes are produced by us ourselves,  which have higher performance and service life than similar products on the market.

AC chlorinator cells do not have the function of reversing polarity, the cell will require periodic cleaning in a mild acid solution (1 part HCl to 15 parts water) which will remove the buildup of calcium compound crystals, such as calcium carbonate or calcium nitrate. Excessive buildup can reduce the effectiveness of the cell. Running the chlorinator for long periods with insufficient salt in the pool can strip the coating off the cell which then requires an replacement ACP cell (Titanium electrode assembly), as can using too strong an acid wash.

8. The inside diameter of the inlet & outlet pipe is 50 mm.
9. AC chlorinator cell is monopole, its polarities are not reversed during the electrolysis process and usually a manual cleaning is required.
